Due to hazardous road conditions and low temperatures, JCPS will operate on NTI for Wednesday and Thursday, January 28 and 29, 2026. All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled as well. Please review Meyzeek's NTI plan to navigate the next two days.

❄ NTI DAYS | After evaluating road conditions throughout the community, Wednesday, Jan. 28 and Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, will be Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) Days for JCPS students and staff.
While our crews report that most main roads are in good shape, many side streets and neighborhood roads across the county remain hazardous. Due to these lingering conditions and low temperatures, we believe transitioning to NTI is the safest choice for our students and staff.
Students should follow their school’s established NTI protocols. NTI days are recognized as standard instructional days and will not extend the school calendar.
All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. If there are any changes to the YMCA CEP program, families will be notified by YMCA CEP.
Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we navigate these winter conditions. Please stay warm and safe.

❄️ SNOW DAY FUN ❄️ | We love seeing how our JCPS students are spending their snow days! Share your photos with us on Facebook @JCPSKY!

Due to snow and hazardous road conditions, Monday, Jan. 26 and Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 will be traditional snow days with no online learning. All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled. If there are any changes to YMCA CEP, families will be notified by CEP.

We had a special visitor yesterday from Kroger as part of their Return to School program!
A huge thank you to Kroger for their generous $2,000 donation. We truly value and appreciate your continued support for our school and community.

Last night, we celebrated Coach K as she prepares to retire this year as our Head Girls Basketball Coach.
Her dedication—both on and off the court—has shaped countless athletes, mentoring so many along the way. Coach K’s impact reaches far beyond the game, and she will truly be missed.
Thank you, Coach K, for the legacy you leave behind!
