Graphic says: Happy School Lunch Hero Week! Lassiter Middle. “Despite being a team meant for eight, the school’s nutrition staff is currently down to just four dedicated employees. Yet, through it all, Marcia Coyle continues to show unwavering dedication and heart every single day—her commitment is truly inspiring. Lassiter has faced some tough times recently, including unexpected injuries that have led to significant staffing shortages. But even in these challenging moments, Marcia and her new lead, Kersandra Faulkener have stepped up in incredible ways. To me, they are all true heroes—thank you for everything you do! Kudos to our incredible Café Team!” - Amy Willard, SCNS Consultant

🎲🏠 Future planning in action! Our Build & Design students got a hands-on lesson in life management by playing The Game of Life! 🤯 Before even rolling the dice, they designed their own versions, tackling real-world challenges like cost of living 💸 and family expenses 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. In the end, they tallied their experiences to see if they lived within their means! 🤔 What a creative way to consider their futures! 🚀

🎭📚 Shakespeare comes to life! Our amazing Seniors and Theater 2 students had the incredible opportunity to see a live performance of Macbeth by the fantastic Kentucky Shakespeare! 🌳👑 After diving deep into the text in their English classes, this was the perfect way to truly visualize the play as it was intended.
