✅ SUPERINTENDENT SURVEY | The Jefferson County Board of Education wants to hear from the public as they search for the next superintendent of JCPS. With Dr. Marty Pollio retiring this summer, the board has begun the process of hiring his successor. To assist in this effort, board members are inviting the public to complete a survey that asks about the qualities and priorities they’d like to see from the next leader of JCPS.
Whether you’re a parent, student, staff member, community leader, or simply someone who cares about the future of JCPS and Louisville, your input is invaluable!
Take a few moments to fill out the survey and share your thoughts: bit.ly/jcps-superintendent-search

📢 Celebrating Black History Month at Doss High School! 🖤🎉
Ms. John’s Civil Rights: A Global Perspective class has been exploring the challenges of human rights worldwide. Each unit focuses on key aspects such as the history of the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights, Indigenous Peoples, and discrimination based on culture, gender, sexual orientation, and disability. Through their work, students are learning how individuals seek change to improve the world.
Her students have created powerful posters highlighting inspiring Black leaders and their contributions to society as part of our Black History Month celebration. Their dedication and creativity shine through in this meaningful project!
