Yesterday, our junior Marketing students participated in mock interviews as the end of unit project for our Employment Process unit.  Between Monday and Tuesday, we welcomed 12 different community business partners who served as interviewers.  We got SO MANY awesome comments and great feedback from the partners.

bowling try out dates: Tuesday September 16 and September 23 at Dixie Bowl Lanes. Thursday September 18 and September 25 at Ken Bowl Lanes. After School 3:50-5:00pm. Season runs October through February.

CERT SAT is Coming!

Your student will take the CERT SAT exam in the coming days. Please remind your student to get a good night’s sleep, eat breakfast, be at school on time, and bring their charged Chromebook to testing. The CERT SAT can help your student demonstrate their growth in content areas and practice foundational skills for all content areas. Ms. Higdon’s 9th grade ELA students kicked off the day yesterday with Book Speed Dating! This fun event is a perfect way to welcome new students to the Doss Library. A big thank you to Ms. Freeman and Ms. Kennedy for providing so many ML friendly books!

Doss' Open-House Community Event will be held Thursday, August 21st, 2025. Doors will open at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. This event will feature more than 20 company partners to include job applications, college and career readiness support, mental wellness, educational supports and multilingual supports and food trucks. Doss will also be showcasing our Academy spaces specifically our GE Lab, Class Act Credit Union, Spirit Shop, Entrepreneurship Program, and Nursing Station. Please come out meet our Teachers, experience our community and enjoy. We invite all families to come out for this night as there will be prize giveaways, food for purchase, and excited staff ready and waiting to embrace the community.
